Meet Your Facilitators

Kareece is a dedicated practitioner with extensive training in various healing modalities. She is certified in Yin Yoga by LoveLightYoga and is completing her 200-hours yoga teacher training with Yoga Angels International. Her journey includes training in Shoden Reiki Level 1 with Iron Lotus Academy, and she utilizes reiki for self-healing and actualization. Kareece's path has connected her with traditional healers, indigenous communities, and shamans from around the world. She has profound experience in the ceremonial use of entheogenic plants, such as ayahuasca and sacred mushrooms, as well as cacao, kambo, san pedro, sananga, and sacred tobacco. As a plant medicine ceremony facilitator and musician, she also supports integration. An Ifa and Shamanic practitioner attuned to I-Ching, Kareece offers this divination tool to help people find answers to life's questions.

With his diverse skill set and passion for sustainable living, Dylan Chong is a true renaissance man in the world of agriculture and wellness. He is a multi-talented individual with a diverse range of skills and passions, including over 10 years of practice in the holistic healing arts. A certified yoga teacher, with over 500 hours of training, he incorporates mindfulness and wellness practices into all of his offerings. Dylan has also apprenticed in myofascial release therapy, further expanding his knowledge of holistic health practices. The moon part should say sturgeon- not Surgeon.

Recognized as one of Jamaica's premier farms, Croydon In The Mountains sits on 130+ acres of pine forest, exotic fruit and coffee fields, botanical gardens, and bee and bird sanctuaries.

At Croydon, we believe in the harmonious integration of landscape and people. Our approach to land management and design adopts arrangements observed in flourishing natural ecosystems.

We have recently re-imagined our daily farm tour, here is what to expect!

Highlights

  • Marvel at the majestic Catadupa Mountain Range as you take in the lush greenery surrounding our 130+ acre farm and estate.
  • Learn about our history - while walking through our working farm, flower nurseries, and our hummingbird sanctuary. Croydon is also the birthplace of Jamaican abolitionist Samuel Sharpe.
  • Sample a variety of seasonal fruits and juices as you meander past the fields where they are grown. A variety of 19 different pineapples are grown on the farm!
  • Stroll through the coffee groves as you learn how Jamaica’s coffee beans are harvested and turned into the delicious coffee known throughout the Caribbean.
  • Work up an appetite during your visit, as it will include an organic farm-to-table Jamaican lunch of estate-marinated grilled chicken, rice & peas, vegetables, and fried ripe plantain. 
  • Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.
  • After lunch, relax in our gardens taking in the sweeping views of the lush Jamaican countryside and learn more about exciting events and experiences coming to Croydon!
  • Alcoholic beverages and coffee will be available for purchase!

Meeting Locations

  • Transportation is included from Montego Bay, Hanover, Falmouth, and Negril resorts.
  • A walking tour of our farm led by a passionate guide, samples of seasonal fresh fruit and juice from our farm, farm-to-table lunch, mindfulness forest walk.

  • Please wear comfortable, active clothing and shoes that are appropriate for a nature walk. 
  • Please bring sunscreen if you require it.
  • Make sure to bring a camera as there will be many opportunities for photos on the tour!

  • Times and duration may vary due to weather conditions
  • Infants from 0 to 2 years old receive complimentary admission
